I first would want to thank you for visiting my little slice of cyberspace, and if you heard about us while visiting a show in person, thank you again.

My name is Ginger, founder of the Artifex company, the maker of occasionware™.

Then…

The Artifex company actually had a rather inauspicious start, I love getting together with friends pre-planned or impromptu. These gatherings are well worthy of food and drink that is above the everyday, why not the way it is served?

Now…

While there have certainly been many steps between this notion and the products in these pages, the basis remains. I look for a fresh statement with each design. While more casual than formal, wares that are comfortable with a sensible amount of elegance that might be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion.
